 Profile

Alex was born and raised in Kamloops and is the youngest of four brothers. He attended Thompson Rivers University, where he played on the inaugural TRU men’s hockey team, before completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and his law degree at the University of Victoria.

After law school, Alex returned to Kamloops to article with a local general practice firm and later practiced there as an associate before joining Paul & Company.

Alex practices exclusively in family law, including separations, child protection matters, consensual resolutions, and cohabitation agreements. Drawing on his background in psychology, he approaches each matter with a strong understanding of human behavior and interpersonal dynamics – an important perspective when navigating the complex and often emotional issues that arise in family disputes. Alex is committed to helping clients reach practical and effective resolutions while guiding them through the legal process with clarity and confidence.

Outside the office, Alex enjoys hockey, golf, tennis, and cooking. He lives in Kamloops with his partner Kate and their cat, Stella.
