Our History

A Legacy of Family Law in Kamloops

Paul & Company was built on a foundation of local expertise and a commitment to serving the Kamloops community. The firm’s roots trace back to 1992, when David Paul, KC co-founded the partnership of Paul & O’Fee. By 1995, the practice evolved into Paul & Company, a firm dedicated primarily to the complexities of family law which continues today.

Decades of Growth and Mentorship

Paul & Company has long served as a training ground for legal excellence in the Thompson-Nicola region. Throughout the years, the firm expanded its bench of family law experts, welcoming longtime associates and respected litigators David Dundee (1997), Jeanine Ball (2017), and Alex Marr (2020).

A New Era of Leadership

In September 2022, the firm entered its next chapter as Jeanine Ball and Alex Marr assumed ownership. Under their leadership, the firm has continued to modernize while staying true to its core mission.

In March 2026, the partnership expanded further, welcoming Tracey Greer and Rachel LaGroix as partners. As alumni of TRU Law, both Tracey and Rachel bring deep local ties and nearly a decade of litigation experience to the firm’s leadership team.

Today, the firm continues to benefit from the experience of founder David Paul, K.C., who serves as Senior Associate Counsel. In this role, he focuses on his mediation practice while providing invaluable mentorship to our growing team.
