Paul & Company has been closely monitoring the news and recommendations from government and health authorities regarding the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. The health and well-being of our firm members, colleagues, and clients is of utmost importance and will guide us as we respond to the developing COVID-19 outbreak. To that end, we are taking proactive and precautionary measures to ensure the continued health and safety of our families, employees, clients, and our communities while at the same time taking steps to ensure continued quality of legal services to our clients.
While we do not presently expect office closures, we are encouraging all clients and contacts to call or email our team rather than come in person. In order to minimize visits to our offices, our lawyers will be substituting conference calls and videoconferencing for in-person meetings whenever possible. All in-person meetings will be made by appointment only — no walk-ins.
We will continue to carefully monitor the situation and evaluate our measures to support our clients and colleagues. Should the need for closure arise, we are prepared to keep business running remotely. We are confident that this will allow us to remain fully accessible and provide ongoing exceptional service and support to our clients.
Our thoughts are with all those personally impacted by COVID-19 during this challenging time. We are grateful to all those in the medical and governmental communities who are on the front lines of fighting the spread of the virus
We wish you and your loved ones good health, safety, and peace in these challenging times.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding COVID-19 or resources we can provide, please reach out to one of our partners, David A. Paul, QC and Lorianna Bennett.
